Summer is coming! And festival season is almost upon us. It’s time, therefore, to dig out that sundress, get those new sunglasses, glitter up your wellies, and make sure your tent is entirely leak-free!

Music and dance are the main feature at most festivals, of course, so the right clobber is paramount. Wellies are great for mud, but shoes you can dance to (think trainers or decent boots) are a must.

1. Glastonbury
This five days festival is perhaps the most famous of those in the UK. Every other year, the cosmic, new age village of Glastonbury holds court to a variety of top name musicians and entertainers. From pop to dance, crafts to theatre, spoken word to tents that offer chai and the opportunity to chill, there’s something here for everyone.

2. Lollapalooza

4. Tomorrowland

If electronic music’s your bag, then head to Belgium for Tomorrowland. This epic fest takes place in a town called Boom (but of course) and you’ll be dancing ‘til you drop when the music booms and beats, as well. This festival began back in 2005 but becomes ever more epic each year.
