Which Framework to choose from Angular,Vue.js and React?

Front end frameworks are gaining popularity as companies and developers can use them to develop convoluted applications is less time. In this article, we would compare angular with react and vue.

History:

React:  React is an open source javascript framework  library founded by facebook in 2013.React is not only used by facebook but also twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram, Microsoft, Slack, Airbnb etc. According to Statista, React is used by 35.9% developers worldwide.

Angular: Angular was developed by Google in 2010. Angular was developed as a typescript-based javascript framework and in 2016 Google introduced Angular 2 which was a major shift. Angular is used by The Guardian and Weather.com. According to Statista, Angular is the third most popular web developed framework which is used by 25.1% users.

Vue: Vue or Vue.js was developed by ex-google employee Evan You in 2014 and since then it has witnessed a considerable increase in its popularity. It is used by companies like 9Gag, Alibaba  and Gitlab. According to Statista, React is used by 17.3% developers worldwide.

All the frameworks have some strengths and lack in some areas. So if there is a debate as to which framework is the best there cannot be an specific answer, as it would depend on which one suits your requirement is the best for you.

Angular Benefits

Angular was created to use typescript and it also has a huge support for it.

We all are aware how big Google is and as Angular is backed by Google it has large community of members and detailed documentation.

With Angular developers can work on same section of app with same data but separately.

Angular's structure and architecture make it possible to scale a good project.

Limitations

Angular offers different structures like Injectables, Components, Pipes, Modules which makes it challenging to learn angular when compared to react and vue.js which only focuses on component.

As Angular used DOM, it affects its performance when measured on different benchmarks.

React Benefits

React is comparatively easy to learn and is light in weight. It provides simple JS design using a syntax that joins both HTML and JavaScript. Moreover, React also offers complete documentation which can assist users wishing to learn React.

React is faster as it has Virtual DOM implementation and rendering optimisation.

It also supports Progressive Web Apps which has seen huge demand in recent times. Create-react-app template generator provides great help.

React allows to use reusable code by creating modularised design. The benefit of this is it makes is easier to scale large complex application.

Limitations

Developers in react had to make their own design choices as react is an unopinionated language.

React as a technology keeps on updating and involving so it can be challenging to  keep up with the latest updates and its documentation.

VUE benefits

Vue provides detailed documentation which assists in learning the language. A developer can design single page application if he/she has knowledge about HTML and JavaScript.

Not only Vue is useful for developing single page application, but it is also useful for complex web interfaces. Another benefit of Vue is it can be integrated into existing project without any negative effect on the system.

Vue is small so its speed and flexibility are optimal  which brings out better performance. Also it is much quicker than angular as it uses virtual DOM architecture.

Limitation

As Vue is comparatively smaller than angular and react it has smaller community of users with fewer resources on offer i.e it can sometimes limit to knowledge sharing and support.
