TIPS AND TRICKS

1- Store them well.

Each spice has its own method of storage (e.g: brown sugar tends to clump up if not stored in an airtight container; because of the moisture in it), so be sure to google your spices and their method of storing to ensure maximum shelf-life and flavor.

2- Fry your spices!

To get your spices as fragrant and flavorful as they

can be, make sure to fry your spices until they get aromatic. And you can also fry your big spices

(e.g: Cinnamon, Bay leaves) to infuse your oil,

and then remove them.

3- Make your own spices!

Let’s say you like lemon pepper chicken, and you want to be able to make it yourself,

you can grind your own lemon zest, black pepper, sea salt at home if you have a grinder. Or you can take them to the nearest spice shop, so they could grind them for you!

4- Know which spices compliment which.

Fact: some flavors are enhanced by salt, and some others are enhanced by sugar!

Some spice pairings make the best dishes, the possibilities are endless!

5- And finally, never be afraid to experiment!

There are many awesome recipes that were created by accident; You cannot predict the result until you have tasted it yourself.

So do not hesitate to mix your own spices and discover for yourself
